BIOGRAPHY

Veronica Dell’Agostino was born in Sondrio, Italy, in 1981.
After artistic studies she moved to Milan where she graduated in photography at European Institute of Design in 2004.
She expresses herself with photography, often supported by short infantile poems written by herself.
She’s often the main character of her pictures and her work takes inspiration from fables and childish world, contaminated by a macabre but ironic view.
She currently lives and works in Valtellina, a valley in the north of Italy.

 

BIOGRAFIA

Veronica Dell’Agostino nasce a Sondrio il 5 aprile 1981.
Dopo aver conseguito nel 2000 il diploma di maturità artistica sperimentale ad indirizzo grafico-visivo presso il Liceo Artistico G. Ferrari di Morbegno, si trasferisce a Milano dove si diploma in fotografia nel 2004 presso l’Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano.
Si esprime attraverso l’uso della fotografia, spesso associata a brevi filastrocche da lei stessa scritte, ed è spesso la protagonista delle sue immagini. Trae ispirazione dalle fiabe e dal mondo infantile, contaminati da una visione macabra ma al contempo ironica.
Attualmente vive e lavora in Valtellina.
